A sweet potato shochu from Kirishima Distillery in Miyazaki, made using purple sweet potatoes (murasaki imo) and black koji fermentation. Distilled at lower proof, it retains more of the base ingredient’s character while maintaining a clean, composed structure.
Soft and aromatic, with notes of tropical fruit, sweet potato, and a gentle earthiness. The palate is smooth and lightly textured, with a subtle sweetness and a clean, balanced finish.
