A Mexican fernet from the Vallet family in Puebla, produced since the 19th century and one of the few longstanding expressions of the style outside Italy.
Aloe, chamomile, and menthol lead, with a brighter, more lifted herbal profile than most. It opens cool and aromatic, then moves into cocoa, coffee, and gentle root bitterness, with a slightly drier, more composed feel through the finish.
