Saumur’s Brézé hill is famous for its tuffeau limestone, a soft chalky rock that gives the area’s wines their distinctive tension and mineral edge. Arnaud Lambert, one of the region’s leading growers, channels that terroir into this traditional-method Crémant rosé made largely from Cabernet Franc.
Bottle fermentation builds a fine, persistent mousse while preserving the variety’s naturally bright fruit. The wine opens with wild strawberry, red currant, and pink grapefruit, followed by subtle floral tones and a lightly chalky finish that reflects the limestone soils beneath the vines.
