A Speyside single malt from The Balvenie, initially matured in American oak before finishing in French oak casks that previously held Pineau des Charentes, a fortified wine from southwest France. The finishing casks add aromatic lift and subtle sweetness while preserving the distillery’s signature honeyed style.
Bright and layered, with notes of grapefruit, ginger, and stone fruit alongside honey, vanilla, and light floral tones. The palate is supple and rounded, with a gentle spice and a refined, slightly drying finish shaped by the French oak.
