Bodegas El Maestro Sierra 15-Year Oloroso is a dry Oloroso Sherry from Jerez, Spain, produced by the historic house of El Maestro Sierra. Made from Palomino grapes grown on the region’s chalky albariza soils, the wine is aged oxidatively in a traditional solera system for an average of 15 years.
Without the protective layer of flor that defines Fino and Manzanilla styles, Oloroso ages exposed to oxygen, developing its deeper color and complex aromatics.
Expect rich notes of toasted nuts, dried fruit, caramel, and warm spice, with hints of walnut and orange peel. Full-bodied and structured yet smooth, it finishes long and savory—excellent alongside aged cheeses, roasted meats, or simply served on its own as a contemplative aperitif.
