An old-vine Tinta de Toro from Toro, made by Jorge Ordóñez under the Vatan label, drawing from some of the region’s lower-yielding, more concentrated vineyards.
Darker and more structured than the standard Tritón. Black fruit, licorice, and spice come through first, with a deeper, slightly more saturated feel on the palate. The tannins are firmer, and the oak shows a bit more, giving it a longer, more grounded finish.
