Borgogno’s No Name Langhe Nebbiolo is a rebellious yet refined take on Piedmont’s flagship grape. Crafted from grapes sourced near Barolo (sites like Cannubi, Fossati, and Liste), it begins with traditional Nebbiolo handling—manual harvesting, natural fermentation in concrete, and aging in large Slavonian oak casks for over two years. The project started as a protest when one of two nearly identical Barolo samples was rejected; the remaining wine was bottled without a name—hence “No Name”
