Primarily pinot noir blended with 15 percent chardonnay, this is the first-ever biodynamic cuvée ever to be produced in Champagne. It was formulated in 1989, the same year the Berlin Wall fell, and it is a tribute to this event that marked the end of the cold war and the separation between Germany and the rest of the continent. “Fleur de L’Europe” is French for “flower of Europe.”
