Garrison Brothers 10th Anniversary Cowboy Bourbon · 750 ml

The spirit of Texas Hill Country is alive and well in this limited special release from the state’s first legal distillery. Garrison Brothers Master Distiller Donnis Todd hand-selected each barrel for the 10th Anniversary expression of their Cowboy Bourbon, producing just 10,000 bottles for nationwide distribution. Each barrel was aged a minimum of eight years on the Garrison Brothers ranch in Hye, TX. The extreme shifts in climate on a day-to-day basis means this juice comes out of the barrel as some of the boldest and most intense bourbon out there, making its way to the bottling line uncut and unfiltered. Because nothing says ‘giddy up’ like 140 proof! But don’t let the ABV scare you.

Todd selects barrels specifically designed to withstand the Texas heat and has perfected the mash bill so that the potency never overpowers the flavor. Tasting notes from the distillery team include snickerdoodle cookies dipped in maple syrup, melted chocolate-pecan brownies and vanilla fudge covered raisins. Last year’s Cowboy Bourbon release took home a slew of medals and accolades, and we fully expect Garrison Brothers to continue adding their trophy case with this one.
