This is the inaugural release of Halcon Estate and is quickly being called one of the finest Syrahs in California. Halcon Estate is over 2,500 feet in elevation, perched in the mountains of Yorkville Highlands appelation of Mendocino County. The rolling hills of Halcon are sit atop a craggy cliff with soils of fractured shale and mica schist over ancient sandstone bedrock. The growing conditions are as extreme as its terrain, with brisk winds, cool temperatures, and consistent snowfall in the winter. 100% Syrah.
