Chablis is the “Golden Door of Burgundy”, 180 km away from Paris, going South-East. Composed 100% of Chardonnay grape variety, Chablis terroir takes its unique typicity from a soil called “Kimmeridgien″, made of layers of limestone and clay 240 million year-old and keeping in its layers ammonites and fossilized oysters (ostrea virgula) that give to it such a unique expression along with minerality and purity to the wines.
This fruity and vivid wine presents a nice golden color and a floral nose with notes of white fruits (apple, pear) typical of Chablis terroir. Chablis wine shows a nice gustatory attack with mineral and chalky hints and a perfect balance in mouth.
