One of the last remaining examples of traditional Irish bonded whiskey, Green Spot is produced for Dublin wine merchant Mitchell & Son at Midleton Distillery, drawing on a style once central to Ireland’s whiskey identity. Made from a mash of both malted and unmalted barley and distilled in copper pot stills, it represents the hallmark texture and spice of the single pot still category unique to Ireland.
Matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, the whiskey shows a balance of orchard fruit and gentle oak influence, with notes of green apple, honey, citrus, and soft baking spice. The palate is round and lightly creamy, finishing with lingering spice and toasted grain
